Abdou Bensouda has comprehensive experience in finance and management. Furthermore, he trained as an engineer. He started his career as an engineer at Westinghouse. There, he served as a software engineer and a program manager. An investment professional,Mr. Bensouda has held assorted executive, financial, along with managerial positions since 1995.
He has 20-plus years’ experience in business reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and general management. Mr. Bensouda was a managing director for venture capital and advisory firm Finaventures. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College in Massachusetts.
Mr. Bensouda was a senior executive at BMCE Bank Group before joining Finaventures. At BMCE, he was responsible for investments greater than $100 million in high-tech start-ups and joint ventures with major technology businesses. He held program management and engineering roles at the Westinghouse Electronic System Division before BMCE.
